The French Embassy in Nigeria has awarded the sum of Thirty Thousand Euros (€30,000) to the University of Jos as Research Grant for an e-Health Research programme to be undertaken by the University. Unijos is among Four other Nigerian Universities including University of Ibadan, University of Lagos, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and Bayero University, Kano to win the Grant each worth the same amount.
